Using software such as Parallels I am able to emulate my live windows 10 partition and run that within OS X (With minimal hardware requirements too), Ive even tested the interface and recording with it and it does seem to work rather nicely.
I indirectly came up with a solution that should for the most part eliminate the need to wait for a driver ever damn year! The key to this is virtualisation! For me to use my interface I usually have to swap to Windows 10 and use it and thats a bit of a ball ache considering windows isn't my usual operating system and the fact I edit on OS X. Thing is my laptop isn't actually a Mac, its an Asus N56VZ I hackintoshed to run OS X (Runs it with all features working 100% btw) and I have my windows 10 installation on a separate partition. Like you all I have a Fast Track Ultra 8R that I cannot use thanks to my upgrade to El Capitan, and I really refuse to downgrade just to be able to use it.
